Daphne D. Maysonet (Co-Founder)
A transplant from Junction City, Kansas, Daphne has been living in Augusta, Georgia for three years, where she has earned her associate’s degree at Georgia Military College, graduating summa cum laude. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English at Augusta State University. She worked as a copy editor at the Aiken Standard but now works as an editor at Best Lawyers Magazine in Aiken, S.C. She also worked in the Academic Resource Center of Georgia Military College. During her academic career, she has served as Editor-in-Chief of the quarterly college publication The GMC Journal. She has also been published in The Inkling. When not chastising her cat, she enjoys working on poetry and other forms of writing, attempts to cook her mother’s native Dominican meals, and uses the stereo remote control as a microphone when her husband is in a different room of their shared home.
Alana Lopez (Production Editor/Graphics Designer)
From a small Australian town, Alana has always considered herself a writer, even if she has never finished one of her many books. An avid cinephile and a secret singer, she has dreamed away her childhood with angels, fairies, warriors and vampires all the while hoping she would cure the zombie virus and save the world from a hostile alien invasion. Graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2010 with a Bachelor of Biomedicine, Genetics, she decided once and for all to pursue her writerly dreams with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), majoring in Creative Writing and English and Theatre Studies, graduating in 2014. Currently, she is the Marketing & Communications Assistant for the Aurecon Group. She has been published in Bordertown and writes a fictional blog series about a zombie student apocalypse. When she is not writing, she enjoys a veritable portfolio of television shows, not least of which are design shows that satisfy her overwhelming passion for beautiful homes. She is also an aspiring hardcore gamer, or would be if she only had the time.

Samantha Mulholland (Assistant Editor)

After graduating in 2014, she has worked in retail and recently left that job to join a wonderful school as a Preschool Aid teacher. She is also a new mommy to her beautiful fur-baby puppy Charlie who is quite the little handful. When not planning for lessons or writing, Samantha still struggles to get published (but she’ll get there); she also enjoys learning Italian, reading, watching Netflix and playing with Charlie.
Tiffany Wang (Assistant Editor)
Tiffany Wang is a senior at John H. Guyer High School, a school on the outskirts of Denton, Texas. She loves experimenting with different types of prose, especially at three AM with copious help from coffee. She’s received a national silver medal from the Scholastic Awards, and has been published in numerous publications, including The Cadaverine, Crack the Spine, The Blue Monday Review, and the Apprentice Writer. In her spare time, she peruses for new coffee shops and dreads becoming an adult.
